Pangaea’s assistant manager William Kaye loves the magic that elevates a restaurant experience from eating to an event. “No matter how wonderful the food and décor are, if you don’t have deft service, your dining experience will not be top notch. It’s my job to make sure that all of the staff at Pangaea are here for our customers and make every patron’s meal a special occasion,” says Kaye.”
The training he’s gained by working in some of Toronto’s most acclaimed restaurants at every level of the service ladder has allowed Will to channel his passion for food and wine into a satisfying career. Outside of work he’s a sports fan who loves eating authentic French and Italian food -- especially when they are paired with robust red wines such as Bourdeaux and Amarone.
Although Will’s goals include becoming a sommelier and owning his own top tier restaurant someday, we’re very pleased to have this even-tempered perfectionist as part of our management team.
